Position Overview:

This role involves assisting in the provision of patient care and treatment while offering essential clerical and administrative support. The Healthcare Support Specialist will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure the needs of patients and their families are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the delivery of patient care and treatment.
  • Provide clerical support and assist in administrative tasks.
  • Prepare examination areas and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for use.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain inventory of medical supplies.
  • Handle incoming calls, maintain patient records, and assist with various patient procedures.
  • Deliver patient education and support as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Certifications:

  • Certification as a medical assistant is required within 15 months of employment, along with CPR certification upon hire.
