Job Title: Occupational Therapist Assistant

LHC Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team in Dayton, Ohio.

About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in their homes. You will work closely with our occupational therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct home visits to assess patients' living environments and provide recommendations for modifications to promote safety and independence.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Current OTA licensure in the state of Ohio.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
