Our client is a pioneering medical innovator introducing groundbreaking tissue reconstructive therapies to the healthcare industry. The company's senior leadership comprises experienced medical device professionals from top organizations.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for generating sales of the Company's product portfolio in their assigned geographic territory. The Account Manager will develop and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, hospital administrators, and nursing staff to ensure appropriate use of the Company's FDA-cleared products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Educate physicians on the benefits of Company Products, ease of use, and appropriate technique and placement of the Company Product portfolio.
  • Communicate complex clinical data to assist surgeons in selecting the right product for patients based on co-morbidities and wound classifications.
  • Collaborate with the Company's commercial team to achieve successful outcomes for hospitals, surgeons, and patients.
  • Develop business plans to meet short-term revenue objectives while optimizing longer-term opportunities in their geographic area.
  • Maintain and update the Company's CRM database with current hospital and surgeon information in their area.
  • Participate in national and regional commercial team meetings and calls to share best practices and ensure success is replicated across the team.
Requirements:
  • BA or BS in a relevant degree program.
  • 7+ years of experience in the life science industry, preferably in the biologics space, with experience in hernia repair, abdominal wall reconstruction, and breast reconstruction.
  • Experience handling biologic tissue-based materials.
  • Extensive knowledge of clinical needs of physicians and mechanisms of action of host response to biologic implants.
  • Ability to identify new market opportunities for biologic constructs based on unmet needs of general and reconstructive surgeons.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities, with ability to formulate business solutions for various challenges.
Additional Information:

This position is field-based and requires frequent travel. The successful candidate must have a valid driver's license and will be subject to DMV and other required background and reference checks.
