Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and animal-loving individual to join our team as a Sales Associate. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by engaging with guests, processing transactions, and ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities- Provide top-notch service by engaging with guests and utilizing your acquired skills and training.
- Assist guests in selecting merchandise that meets their needs.
- Demonstrate a high level of interest in animal welfare, health, and proper handling.
- Process transactions efficiently and effectively.
- Generate future business through building relationships with guests and understanding their pet-related needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous sales or retail experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be available to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The estimated salary for this role is $15-$21 per hour. Petco offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
