This role involves working under general supervision to deliver administrative and customer service assistance for the DOTS program.

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining organized office operations, tracking and updating data in our automated systems, and ensuring that customer interactions are handled efficiently. This role requires travel to various locations within the designated area and is primarily office-based.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers in person to guide them through the necessary steps in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assess applications for eligibility criteria and accurately enter data into the system.
  • Inform customers about their rights, responsibilities, and available self-service options.
  • Manage document scanning and uploading into the appropriate management systems.
  • Oversee the ordering and inventory of office supplies and equipment.
  • Distribute Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards as required.
  • Ensure compliance with the Voter Registration process.
  • Provide translation services when necessary.
  • Accurately input information into automated systems in a timely manner.
  • Address and de-escalate conflicts with clients effectively.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher management as needed.
  • Troubleshoot office equipment issues by coordinating with support services.
  • Occasionally travel to different locations to facilitate EBT card issuance and supply deliveries.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Familiarity with customer service best practices and administrative procedures.
  • Understanding of program regulations, policies, and relevant computer systems.
  • Proficient in problem-solving techniques and logical reasoning.
  • Strong command of the English language, including grammar and composition.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating professionalism.
  • Proficiency in using software applications for tracking and preparing information, with a preference for Google Suite experience.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet vehicle operation requirements.
