We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy.
- Position patients, adjust equipment, and secure immobilization devices as needed to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, including exam charges and patient information.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate image interpretation.
- Active IEMA license and ARRT registry within one year of employment.
- Minimum experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with new graduates accepted.
- Knowledge of general diagnostic radiology and ability to perform common radiologic procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- May require rotating shifts, alternate days, and overtime.
- Exposure to ionizing radiation and infectious diseases.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and use patient handling equipment as needed.
