Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Stamford Health. As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
- Valid Radiology license from the State of Connecticut and ARRT or eligible
- CPR certification required
- Minimum 100 mammography exams completed under direct supervision
