Deputy Director of Complaint Resolution

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Complaint Management to join our team. As a key member of our Office of Diversity and Outreach, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the intake process for all complaints of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
- Supervise and mentor a team of staff members responsible for conducting initial assessments and investigations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to prevent and respond to complaints of harassment and discrimination.
- Collaborate with campus partners to provide training and education on harassment and discrimination prevention.
- Represent UCSF in internal and external meetings as a subject matter expert.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of six years of experience in compliance, ethics, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of management and supervisory experience.
- Subject matter expertise in federal and state laws and regulations related to harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
- Experience investigating and resolving complaints of harassment and discrimination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
