Senior Marine Service Technician - USCG 100T Master

The Senior Marine Service Technician - USCG 100T Master plays a crucial role in guaranteeing the safe operation, thorough inspection, maintenance, and repair of a variety of vessel models. This position focuses on diagnosing and rectifying issues related to marine engines, propulsion systems, electrical frameworks, and navigational instruments. Furthermore, the technician is responsible for the installation and testing of sanitation systems, refrigeration units, steering mechanisms, and additional accessories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and vessel operation standards.
  • Conduct tests on marine engines and electrical systems.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on engine systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve engine and electrical malfunctions.
  • Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
  • Oversee repair projects and manage technician teams.
  • Utilize specialized marine service tools for diagnostics and repairs.
  • Install and repair engines, electrical systems, and other marine components.
  • Engage with clients and suppliers as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Marine Technician.
  • Certifications from ABYC and manufacturers.
  • Possession of a USCG Approved 100T Masters License.
  • Capability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience with both gas and diesel engine systems.
  • Strong communication and technical abilities.
