About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Cerris Systems. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to achieve our business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the proposal and estimate review process to ensure accuracy and visual quality in response to Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Qualifications (RFQ) solicitations.
  • Act as a contact for external and internal marketing specific to our subsidiary.
  • Provide input to the management team on new product or service features to meet current and future customer needs.
  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners and exploring opportunities.
  • Evaluate risk on potential projects and implement negotiating strategies and positions.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements, participating in developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years or more of related work experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
  • Ability to deliver quality through attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Listening skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Ability to be proactive and resourceful.
  • Ability to follow-up on inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
