About the Role

LendingClub Bank is seeking a Payment Services Analyst to join our Bank Operations team. This critical role is responsible for handling the flow of funds for LendingClub's members and supporting cash management, the heart and lifeblood of a financial services business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily operational support of funds flow and assist in developing and streamlining daily operations to enhance controls and mitigate risk.
  • Play a key role in modernizing and automating operations as we build out new products and services in our new bank infrastructure.
  • Interact with other teams internally and across the company to execute procedures and processes to apply payments to borrower loan accounts and disbursements to company investors.
  • Support various external LendingClub teams, including Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Payment Solutions, Member Support, Fraud, and other Operations teams.
What You'll Do
  • Manage borrower payments, transactions, and investor disbursements within LendingClub's core lending applications.
  • Process, oversee, and manage operations support tasks, including check processing, payment refunds, payment return applications, loan cancellations, electronic payment processing, and service ticket research and resolution.
  • Support Treasury-related tasks, such as Failed Loan Issuance, Balance Transfer Loan Failures, Reissuance of funds, Loan Cancellations, ACH transaction review, and other tasks related to movement and management of funds.
  • Process and reconcile check payments, review exceptions and unidentified payments, and perform manual deposits and fee reconciliation.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to improve transaction processing controls within the core application.
About You
  • 2+ years of experience in the financial industry, working in a procedural-driven environment doing personal lending or other types of financial and transactional processing.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong system skills, collections, processing, and analytical skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; timely and accurate follow-through.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate quantitative problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Possess good business judgment with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Strong team player with a high level of professionalism and initiative.
  • Intellectual curiosity to become a subject matter expert in the current process and assist in process improvement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel required); CRM experience preferred.
Work Location

Lehi

We are currently working a hybrid schedule, with teams in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
