About This Role

The Account Progression Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless funding of solar projects from Notice to Proceed through Final Authorization. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, sales partners, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Change Order Management: Manage funding change orders that result from adjusted system requirements or deviations at install, ensuring all necessary steps are taken to move projects efficiently to final funding.
  • Clawback Prevention Management: Work closely with funding and other relevant parties to prioritize and manage funding risk accounts, taking proactive measures to address issues and move accounts efficiently to final funding.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional levels of customer service to both customers and sales teams, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the project final funding.
  • Timely Execution: Meet strict timelines and deadlines for project milestones, proactively identifying and addressing any potential delays or obstacles that may arise.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of solar experience and/or funding submission preferred
  • Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking skills and independent judgment, with the ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions to overcome obstacles and drive account progression.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven ability to quickly assess and address problems and challenges, with a focus on finding practical solutions and mitigating risks to ensure project success.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, sales teams, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach, with a strong commitment to understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations, fostering positive relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements, with a willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills to support the success of the team and the organization.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on ensuring thoroughness and precision in all aspects of work to minimize errors and maximize efficiency.
  • Time Management: Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage time and resources optimally to meet project milestones.
