Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Primrose School of North Naples. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of awareness of children's dietary restrictions and allergies, and ensure that all food prepared is safe and suitable for consumption.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our students, while also being mindful of food safety and quality control.
  • Supervise and assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure that all meals are of the highest quality.
  • Ensure that all food service areas and equipment are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Assist with ordering food and supplies, and maintain accurate records of inventory and expenses.
  • Collaborate with our educational team to develop menus that align with our educational programs and goals.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest food safety and nutrition guidelines.
Requirements
  • Must meet basic requirements of local child care and food service regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to relate positively to young children and their families.
  • Previous experience in quantity food preparation and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children and food.
