We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Primrose School of North Naples. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals for our young students.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a high level of awareness of children's dietary restrictions and allergies, and ensure that all food prepared is safe and suitable for consumption.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our students, while also being mindful of food safety and quality control.
- Supervise and assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure that all meals are of the highest quality.
- Ensure that all food service areas and equipment are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
- Assist with ordering food and supplies, and maintain accurate records of inventory and expenses.
- Collaborate with our educational team to develop menus that align with our educational programs and goals.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest food safety and nutrition guidelines.
- Must meet basic requirements of local child care and food service regulatory agencies.
- Ability to relate positively to young children and their families.
- Previous experience in quantity food preparation and management.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children and food.
Primrose School of North Naples offers a competitive salary range of $13-$17 per hour, depending on experience. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from qualified candidates.
