Executive Chef

As a key member of our culinary team, the Specialty Chef will be responsible for leading the quality, consistency, and production of our specialty restaurant kitchen. This role requires a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus, purchasing, staffing, and food preparation strategies to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve high-quality food production and presentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to meet budgetary requirements.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Develop and train team members to improve skills and knowledge, and to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related field preferred.
- 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field; 2 years of experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related field preferred.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in kitchen operations and team management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
Marriott International offers a competitive salary range of $62,000 to $78,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
