Job Summary:
As a Product Support Sales Representative at Modern Machinery, you will be responsible for the coverage, retention, development, and customer satisfaction of a specific group of customers within an assigned territory. This role requires an ambitious and passionate individual who can deliver innovative product support solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Promote growth and increase sales activity for parts and service by identifying new or additional opportunities for aftermarket sales.
- Provide customers with quotes related to product support and perform machine inspections and evaluations.
- Communicate the progress of repair(s) to customer's equipment in the shop and assist in successfully negotiating and settling customer product support disputes.
Requirements:
- Be a personable, highly motivated, and ethical problem solver who can adapt to all forces around - customers, suppliers, manufacturers, and co-workers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and effectively manage relationships both internally and externally.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to exercise integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Be capable of working with all levels of the organization and have excellent time management and organizational skills.
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 5+ years of industry experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
Nature/Scope of Job:
- Requires prolonged sitting with periodic lifting, walking, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Must be able to travel on a regular basis to include overnight stays.
