Job Title: HR Assistant II

At Martin/Martin Consulting Engineers, we are seeking an experienced HR Assistant II to join our team. As an HR Assistant II, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department in various administrative tasks, including recruiting, benefits administration, leave management, and HRIS systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate recruiting efforts, including managing job postings, screening resumes, conducting reference checks, and coordinating drug screens or background checks.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including annual open enrollment, updating HR systems with benefit documents, and handling inquiries from employees regarding benefit plans and policies.
  • Process leave-of-absence, disability paperwork, and handle related issues.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new hires and maintain onboarding materials.
  • Update HR databases and create events/tasks within the HRIS system.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of HR experience.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
