**Job Summary**

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Watermark at Marco Island. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and integrity of our building systems, safety standards, and state and federal compliance regulations.

**Responsibilities**

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of heating systems, plumbing, environmental systems, and general construction
  • Lead a team of maintenance staff and provide guidance on best practices and safety protocols
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address maintenance needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in facilities management

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in facilities management, with a strong background in maintenance and repair
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Computer literate with experience in maintenance management software
  • Fiscally responsible and able to manage budgets and resources effectively
