Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct repairs in various areas, including appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, boilers, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Utilize troubleshooting, efficiency, sustainability principles, REAC preparation, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and Preventative Maintenance (PM) techniques learned during the program.
  • Complete service requests and repairs in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist in preparing vacant units for market readiness following company standards.
  • Maintain property grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and waste management.
  • Be available for on-call duties during off-hours and emergencies as scheduled.

Qualifications:

  • Genuine interest in pursuing a career in maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing and ability to meet driving record standards.
  • Access to a personal vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel to The Peterson School (Worcester Campus) weekly for classroom training (mileage reimbursed).
  • Basic computer and tablet proficiency.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Basic English language comprehension.
  • Proactive and initiative-driven work ethic.
  • Ability to travel to regional properties and additional training sessions as needed (mileage reimbursed).
  • Capability to meet emergency on-call requirements at assigned properties.

Compensation: $21 - $22 per hour
