We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Director to lead our Child Development program at the Southeast Ventura County YMCA. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program, ensuring the highest quality care and education for our children, and building strong relationships with parents and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive program plan that aligns with the YMCA's mission and goals.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care and education.
- Parent Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and activities.
- Program Evaluation: Conduct regular evaluations of the program to ensure it is meeting its goals and making recommendations for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and YMCA policies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a licensed child care center or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work with diverse populations, and knowledge of child development principles.
