Job Title: Day Program Instructor Caregiver

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Day Program Instructor Caregiver to support our clients in achieving their goals and living fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.
  • Support clients in vocational and leisure activities, promoting their independence and self-advocacy.
  • Transport clients to and from their homes and facilities, ensuring their safe and timely arrival.
  • Collaborate with the care team to assess, plan, and evaluate client progress, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and goals, using computer programs and reviewing Individual Program Plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities, preferably in a day program setting.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid California Driver's License.
  • Candidate must pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications, including Direct Support Professional Certificate and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
  • First Aid and CPR certification required.
