Job Title: Titans After School Program Instructor

CSU Fullerton, Auxiliary Services Corporation (ASC) is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Titans After School Program Instructor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing educational enrichment and support to students in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement all Titans After School Program rules and procedures, displaying professionalism at all times.
  • Support the supervisor by following their directions and communicating regularly with the Site Coordinator.
  • Responsible for managing a classroom of 20-23 students, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Provide educational enrichment, including positive youth development strategies, recreation, prevention activities, and teaching youth positive life skills.
  • Offer tutoring and homework assistance to students, ensuring they receive constant supervision and a safe and supported environment.
  • Implement all Titans After School Program curriculum, including Buena Park: Let's Learn, Meet the Masters, Math Readers, Battle of the Books, STEM, and Comic Books.
  • Create and implement an engaging educational curriculum every month, upon approval of the direct supervisor.
  • Manage service learners, interns, and volunteers at the site, ensuring they are properly trained and supported.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to solely manage a classroom of 20-23 students.
  • Understanding behavior management and effective disciplinary techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional interpersonal and partnering relationship skills.
  • Ability to keep track of all curriculum and binders at the site.
  • Enthusiastic and highly motivated with team-building skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel) and Google Drive (i.e. Docs, Sheets).
Education:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical Demands:

May have short or prolonged periods sitting in front of a computer. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, talking, hearing, pulling, bending, may carry 10 - 20 pounds of objects/material, not exposed to extreme noise level, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, taste or smell.
