Job Title:

Direct Support Professional II

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional II to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network in Covina, CA. As a DSP II, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Redirect behaviors with various activities, such as walking, reading, games, math, and computer projects
  • Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up
  • Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary)
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • CPI certification
  • DSP 1 & 2 certification
  • 1 year of professional or personal experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses
  • Valid in-state driver's license, over 21, and a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
