Job Title: Automotive Tier 1 Sales Account Manager

Jing-Jin Electric (JJE) is a world leader in motor systems and electric drive assembly for new energy vehicles (NEV). We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing one or more Automotive OEM customer accounts, maintaining existing relationships, quoting engineering changes, negotiations, tracking all cash collection, and ensuring all core JJE processes and procedures are followed.

This role requires a detail-oriented and creative manager, comfortable working in a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. The position will continuously seek, vet, recommend, and implement strategies to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of business development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond quickly to customer requests, ensuring accuracy of data and quality of the response.
  • Monitor and follow up on customer portals and emails.
  • Track all price changes and ensure transparency on the price changes and corresponding POs.
  • Ensure all payments are made on time and report to management regularly.
  • Gather all necessary information for quotes, utilizing experience to consider and question potential cost and timing drivers.
  • Anticipate and strategize potential challenges with key accounts, demonstrating strong technical negotiation skills.
  • Act as an internal consultant with business partners in sales and acquisition activities.
  • Break down complex problems to create and implement action plans.
  • Understand analysis and computational complexity and solve problems programmatically.
  • Design visual interfaces for data interaction.
  • Define and implement key business development support systems and processes.
  • Identify strategy gaps with sales and account management teams and find opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in Automotive Tier 1 sales.
  • New business acquisition experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, refine, and implement sales processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a track record of presenting to senior management.
  • Sound business judgment, ownership, and data-driven analysis skills.
  • Proven knowledge of MS Excel for data interpretation and reporting.
  • Ability to operate successfully in a lean and fast-paced organization.
Work Environment:

In office, not remote working.
