We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a 0.9 FTE Day Shift RN, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art operating rooms.
About the RoleThis position requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, with a focus on cardiovascular operating room procedures. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative recovery.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room, including pre-operative preparation, intraoperative care, and post-operative recovery.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest cardiovascular operating room procedures and technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and a culture of safety.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year of Nursing experience.
