We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a CVOR nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our surgical team.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential safety risks and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year of Nursing experience.
