Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is a key role at TSNE, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office and events. This position oversees all administrative, IT, and event logistics, working closely with the Deputy Director of Systems and Sustainability to maintain and innovate our hybrid office environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff and Hybrid Office Operations: Maintain and optimize internal office procedures, provide training and development on administrative and IT systems, and serve as a liaison between staff and bookkeeper/finance staff.
  • Event and Project Management: Manage event logistics, including project management and documentation, vendor contracts, and participant registration. Supervise the Operations Assistant in vendor correspondence, meeting space booking, travel, and catering arrangements.
  • Software and Equipment Support: Oversee all office technology, including computers, phones, email, calendar, document storage, network/server access, videoconferencing/instant messaging, program/internal software platforms, and internet-based applications.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • Alignment with mission and values
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and work successfully with persons of diverse backgrounds
  • Detail-oriented, able to handle high volume of work, and effectively prioritize, multi-task, and problem-solve
  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to supervise and delegate work
  • Experience supporting remote/hybrid teams and experience with Microsoft programs, Google workspace, Slack, and project management software
