Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain aseptic environments for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and surgical assistants during operations, passing instruments and supplies as needed
  • Prepare and transport patients to and from the operating room
  • Participate in the cleaning and restocking of the operating room
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures
Requirements
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Technologist Surgery Certified (TSC) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting certification
  • Act 33 and Act 34 clearances
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance
  • 2 years of experience in a surgical technologist role
