This position requires collaboration with external testing agencies, maintaining thorough documentation, and managing quality assurance procedures throughout the project timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and oversee all sampling, testing, and inspections of work with external testing agencies.
  • Keep an updated register of current safety, material, and equipment submissions.
  • Lead the team to ensure adherence to the Three Phases of Control, ensuring materials, installation, and workmanship conform to the contract specifications.
  • Collect, coordinate, and compile final project closeout documents, including but not limited to: Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, Installed Property data, Transfer Property data, User Training records, Final Test Log and Reports, Final Inspection Reports, Final Submission Register, Warranties, Warranty Tags, Warranty Management Plan, project As-Built records, and other closeout documentation as specified.
  • Maintain the as-built records in real-time and coordinate final submissions.
  • Ensure daily reports are completed and archived with supporting documentation.
  • Conduct daily inspections of ongoing work as required by the project needs.
  • Engage in daily communication with the Superintendent to identify and address items on the rework log.
  • Plan, oversee, and coordinate Special Inspections across civil, structural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and environmental disciplines, gathering inspection reports for submission and record-keeping.
  • Prepare punch lists for buildings prior to turnover and verify that all items have been addressed before the customer pre-final inspection. Be present during the final acceptance inspection.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction quality assurance.
  • Experience with government-related projects or USACE.
  • Possession of an active CQC/CQM-C certification.
