Position: Pediatric Cochlear Audiology Coordinator
Welcome to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics (DH), a premier academic and medical institution in Northern New England. Our Audiology Section provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic and management services for patients across all age groups, working in close partnership with Otolaryngology/Otology. Our offerings include behavioral hearing assessments and various auditory physiologic evaluations such as sedated and unsedated ABR, OAEs, VNGs, VHITs, VEMPs, and ECOGs. We emphasize evidence-based audiology practices and are committed to implementing the highest standards.
We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Cochlear Audiology Coordinator to enhance our vibrant team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Focus on pediatric evaluations and auditory evoked potential assessments
- Collaborate with specialists in Otolaryngology, Pediatrics, Neurology, and Speech Pathology for intricate cases and referrals
- Participate in educational initiatives, research endeavors, and program advancements
- Potential for an academic role with the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth
This pivotal role encompasses:
- Overseeing pediatric audiologists and support personnel
- Partnering with management to refine audiological methodologies
- Creating innovative clinical protocols
- Designing and implementing continuing education opportunities locally and beyond
- Engaging in advanced clinical and fundamental science research
Compensation and Benefits:
- Attractive salary, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance
- Allocated CME time and funding ($4,000 every two years)
- Up to 6% employer contribution to 403B retirement plan

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Audiology with a minimum of 4 years of direct experience in cochlear implant clinical care and pediatric audiology
- Preferred candidates will have demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
Licensure/Certifications Required:
- Certification by ASHA or ABA (six-year or eligible for certification by the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association) is mandatory
