About SambaNova Systems
SambaNova Systems is in search of a highly skilled and proactive Lead Technical Program Manager (TPM) to spearhead Runtime Software within the SambaNova Systems software ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in strategizing, executing, and coordinating dependencies to enhance engineering velocity and quality in delivering products to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the runtime engineering team and various cross-functional partners to synchronize on requirements, drive execution, and implement processes that boost efficiency.
- Utilize your exceptional communication and coordination abilities to maximize the output of diverse technical teams.
- Make program-level decisions, employing planning and tracking tools to manage cross-organizational initiatives of extensive scope and complexity.
- Provide updates on critical milestones and facilitate progress towards those milestones.
- Proactively identify and eliminate barriers to maintain momentum.
- Refine and establish processes and best practices to enhance execution.
- Commit to continuous learning and development in relation to compilers.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of professional experience in the industry.
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management and software development.
- 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams with a proven history of fulfilling project commitments.
- Experience in roadmap planning, change management, forecasting, and release process oversight.
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder management capabilities with a track record of influencing teams and individuals.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to harness cross-group talent and relationships to achieve objectives.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey and elevate information based on the audience.
- A willingness to learn and lead amidst uncertainty.
- Self-driven and eager to assume additional responsibilities over time to contribute to team success.
- Familiarity with AI and deep learning technologies is advantageous.
- Experience in embedded software, collaborating closely with hardware and drivers.
The base salary for this role ranges from $180,000 to $210,000 annually. This range is determined by the role, level, and location, reflecting the salary target for new hires. Individual compensation within this range will depend on various factors, including job-related qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
