Job Title: Soundstage Manager

Cherokee Nation Businesses is seeking a highly skilled Soundstage Manager to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our XR studio and soundstage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate services associated with the XR studio and soundstage, including managing external relationships with vendors and contractors.
  • Establish and manage daily production schedules, updating internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Manage stage power, server, and internet needs, as well as participate in Stage and Tech Scouts.
  • Oversee invoicing with CNB accounting and manage studio events, including demonstrations and public-facing events.
  • Manage security protocols, identify and report safety issues, and respond to emergencies on soundstage.
  • Help manage the growth process, both logistically and culturally, as we expand our team.
  • Coordinate Stage Power with production's electric and rigging representative.
  • Provide general office support regarding stages and productions.
  • Act as liaison to external productions, welcoming them onsite and securing the studio on departure.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 5 years of experience in Film and Television or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification in OSHA Aerial Boom, Scissor, Rough Terrain, and Warehouse Forklifts, DEEP Hazmat, FSO training, Incipient firefighting techniques and fire extinguisher selection and use, HAZWOPER, are a plus.
  • Previous project management experience preferred.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge and experience in film and tv production terminology supporting various departments.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines, prioritize issues, multitask, and adjust to rapid changes in a dynamic production environment.
  • Ability to supervise multiple productions in a fast-paced environment and a team player.
  • Ability to respond after hours in important, timely, or urgent manners.
  • Ability to be discreet and handle confidential information.
  • Advanced knowledge of Stage safety regulations and certifications.
  • Working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, G-Drive, MS Word, and Excel.
Work Environment:

Work will be performed in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled office settings and/or outdoors in all types of weather. Work will require lifting objects up to 100 lbs. Employee may be called into work outside of normal work hours or work long hours.
