Retail Operations Manager

As a Store Operations Leader, you will oversee, guide, and manage all aspects of store functions aimed at achieving optimal sales and profit margins. Your role will involve controlling labor, utility, and other operational costs while ensuring the store meets its objectives through effective personnel and resource management.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce all store regulations and company policies, suggesting modifications as necessary to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate, organize, and manage all store activities with the support of Department Managers and supervisory staff.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, actively monitoring and guiding staff to maintain adherence throughout the store.
- Guarantee that all employees follow company protocols and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Represent the company positively within the store and the surrounding community.
- Make informed decisions regarding operational processes, inventory management, product purchases, merchandising, and scheduling to optimize performance.
- Supervise front-end personnel to ensure accurate and efficient checkout services.
- Maintain confidentiality of company records and financial data, safeguarding against unauthorized access.
- Oversee all facets of the store's operations, including financial performance.

- Warehouse: Freezer (-20F to 0F)
- Store: Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)
- Office: Office Temperature (65F to 75F)
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of all aspects of store management and operations; ability to solve practical issues and interpret various forms of instructions.
- Skills: Proficiency in mathematical concepts necessary for supervising sales transactions and understanding financial statements.
- Physical Abilities: Capability to communicate effectively, respond to customer inquiries, and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 70 pounds.
- Experience: Extensive background in personnel relations or human resource management.
- Certifications: Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification or other required certifications.
- 5-7 years: Experience in the retail or supermarket industry is essential.
- Associate Degree - General Studies

- High School Diploma - General Studies
