Job Description

The Assistant Contract Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective administration and execution of contracts, insurance, collections, and risk management at NessCampbell Crane + Rigging. This position requires strong collaboration with the General Counsel, project managers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to foster positive client relationships and mitigate potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Review and Compliance:

Review contracts to ensure compliance with legal and insurance requirements and company policies, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.

2. Contract Administration and Risk Management:

Maintain and track license expirations and required filings, issue certificates of insurance for contracts and projects, and manage all documentation for renewal of company insurance.

3. Asset Recovery and Collections:

Maintain tracking and documentation for asset recovery, file and track documentation for notice to right to lien and any needed liens, and support the renewal process for company health insurance.

4. Communication and Collaboration:

Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, collaborating with legal, sales, and project management teams to resolve contractual issues and disputes promptly.

5. Record Keeping and Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract files and documentation with an easy-to-navigate file system, ensuring seamless access to critical information.
