- The SAP PP/PS/MES analyst will take charge of designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining manufacturing solutions, leading the analysis and design within the SAP PP/PS/MES domain as part of the core ERP Technology team.
- Your Duties Include:
- Configuring PP, PS-Logistics, and DMS (Document Management System)
- Facilitating workshops with business teams
- Providing solutions that leverage standard SAP Manufacturing functionalities
- Identifying and proposing enhancements to business processes and systems proactively
- Creating Functional Specifications, conducting unit and integration testing, and collaborating with the Technical team to build the solution
- Offering thought leadership and staying updated on SAP's roadmap and future functionalities
- We provide a hybrid work schedule that combines remote and in-office work
- Additionally, we offer a 9-hour workday, with every other Friday off (5x9 and 4x9 + 1 day off)
A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or Engineering is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that enables successful performance of the job's essential functions. A minimum of 12 years of IT experience is required, including six (6) years of specific ERP development and deployment experience; a Master's Degree may substitute for one (1) year of experience, while a PhD may substitute for two (2) years of experience.
Position Overview:
This role encompasses both functional and technical responsibilities within the Gulfstream Business Technology organization for the ERP team. It involves new projects and ongoing activities across all business units, with a significant emphasis on maintaining the integrity of the global template and identifying, scoping, and delivering continuous improvement opportunities. This position collaborates with the business to identify solutions, create business cases, develop functional requirements, and perform application configuration or work with the development team to deliver new and enhanced business capabilities.
Core Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Engages with stakeholders and technology users to identify, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Provides solution leadership and mentorship to the implementation team, delivering capabilities (processes, integration, data migration, and custom development) by leveraging product knowledge and expertise.
- Creates plans based on schedules and assignments, acting independently to execute them.
- Translates moderate to complex business requirements into ERP applications, applying expertise on technical requirements.
- Delegates tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their experience and accountability.
- Demonstrates understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).
- Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and standards in application processes.
- Conducts testing, including designing and executing test cases.
- Responsible for configuring, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading ERP applications and processes, developing and implementing systems, methodologies, standards, and processes for effective ERP solution management.
- Supports management in recruitment, hiring, and career development.
- Collaborates with programming resources (both in-house and third-party) to ensure development work meets specifications.
- Assists in developing work breakdown structures, project plans, and required skills for application development and implementation.
- Provides technical solution leadership and mentorship for the technical team.
- Coordinates and delivers solution capabilities (custom development, integration, data migration) leveraging product knowledge and expertise.
- Acts as a technical expert in one or more applications within a portfolio.
