Onsite Service Representative

Position Overview:

The Onsite Services Representative (OSR) is accountable to a Supervisor or Manager of Onsite Services and supports designated clients by overseeing their inventory, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving account expansion through customers' inventory management (KeepStock) program. OSRs collaborate with partners to execute sales strategies and assist clients in understanding how Grainger can fulfill their business's MRO requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Manage multiple customer sites with the following specific duties: Receive and stock purchased products at designated client locations, ensuring product availability by scanning for reordering as inventory diminishes. Acquire knowledge of Grainger's offerings to enhance order efficiency through system integration. Address customer issues promptly to maintain and promote customer loyalty. Adhere to a designated route defined by routing software tools and maintain route documentation. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in productivity, processes, and cycle times. Comply with safety and inspection standards of the facility where services are provided.

ACCOUNT GROWTH

Assist in generating new orders by engaging with clients to identify additional product requirements. Inquire about customer needs during each site visit and collaborate with sales partners to broaden Grainger's offerings. Participate in quarterly assessments with clients and sales partners to evaluate the effectiveness of Inventory Solutions offerings.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales or service environment. High School Diploma or equivalent. Customer service and sales growth-oriented mindset. Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities. Capability to handle various technical and operational challenges. Possess and maintain a valid driver's license in the state of residence. Must maintain required levels of automobile insurance.
