Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate School Nurse to join our team at Soliant. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of students.

Compensation Package

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $35-$42 per hour, depending on experience. A comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans as well as a 401(k) with employer match. Tax-free stipends may also be available to eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities

As a School Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians and adhering to school policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date health records for all students.
  • Monitoring and managing students with chronic health conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies.
  • Assessing and addressing injuries or illnesses that may occur during school hours.
Required Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid RN license.
  • Experience working as an RN in a school, pediatric, or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to assess, identify, and respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently.
