Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Kindergarten Paraprofessional at ProCare Therapy.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Support the lead teacher in daily classroom activities, creating a safe and engaging learning environment for students.
  • Encourage student participation in group discussions and activities, promoting social and emotional growth.
  • Monitor and guide safe practices in the classroom and playground, ensuring the well-being of all students.
  • Prepare and manage classroom supplies and resources, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Provide emotional support to students adjusting to school routines, offering comfort and reassurance when needed.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma is required; paraprofessional certification is considered a valuable asset.
  • A passion for early childhood development and a strong commitment to creating a nurturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and act decisively.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
