COMPENSATION: $59,000-$68,000 annually
POSITION SUMMARY: Catholic Charities is in search of a proactive leader who comprehends the dynamics of interdisciplinary teams and collaborative efforts. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally competent to fulfill the role of Program Manager II within the Higher Ground – St Paul Medical Respite program.
The Program Manager II will oversee the management of designated program(s), including fundraising initiatives, funding proposals, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Responsibilities include providing insights on policy and procedural modifications, executing policy implementation, and planning for the development of both new and existing program services, alongside budget preparation and oversight. The role demands adherence to Catholic Charities' standards, as well as legal and licensing requirements for client service delivery. Participation in conferences, training sessions, and strategic planning processes at both divisional and agency levels will be expected as directed by the supervisor.
In this role, the individual will lead a department focused on interdisciplinary collaboration and excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure program compliance with accreditation, licensing, and best practice standards.
- Oversee data tracking and compliance requirements, preparing reports and statistical data as needed.
- In collaboration with HR, recruit, hire, mentor, evaluate, and, if necessary, terminate program staff members, fostering a team of professional colleagues.
- Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to effectively place volunteers and interns.
- Review and ensure the relevance, accuracy, and timeliness of data and reporting for accountability and client outcomes.
- Collaborate with the supervisor to establish and implement program vision and objectives.
- Engage with the community through outreach and other methods to ensure program information is accessible.
- Partner with the supervisor and Development staff to monitor and negotiate contracts and grants as necessary.
- Develop and execute multiple and/or complex program strategies and objectives.
- Ensure timely completion of program billing.
- Manage various program budgets, including revenue, expenses, and capital budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience, including managing a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to engage with diverse and/or low-income populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental health challenges.
