Job Title: Program Manager II

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St Paul and Minneapolis is seeking a skilled and compassionate leader to serve as a Program Manager II in its Higher Ground – St Paul Medical Respite program.

Job Summary:

The Program Manager II is responsible for the management of a specific program(s), including fundraising and funding proposals, contract compliance activities, and policy implementation. They will provide input on policy and procedure changes, planning and development of new and existing program services, and budget preparation and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the program meets accreditation, licensing, and best practice standards.
  2. Ensure data tracking and compliance requirements are met, preparing reports and statistical information as requested.
  3. Recruit, hire, coach, review, supervise, and terminate as necessary program staff members, building a team of professional colleagues.
  4. Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator in the placement of volunteers and interns.
  5. Review and ensure the relevance, accuracy, and timeliness of data and reporting for purposes of accountability and client outcomes.
  6. Work with the direct supervisor to develop and implement program vision and goals.
  7. Connect with the community via outreach and other methods to ensure program information is accessible and available.
  8. Work with the supervisor and Development staff to monitor and/or negotiate contracts/grants as required.
  9. Develop and implement multiple and/or complex program strategies and goals.
  10. Ensure the timely completion of program billing.
  11. Manage multiple program budgets, including revenue, expenses, and capital budgets.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, including at least three (3) years of supervisory experience, including experience supervising a team with multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those who may be experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental illness.
