Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Marketing and Communications leader to join our team at Oceans Healthcare. As Vice President of Marketing and Communications, you will be responsible for leading and developing our organization's marketing, advertising, communications, and community relations programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to support our organization's mission, strategic goals, and growth objectives.
  • Work closely with executives, senior leaders, and external partners to establish annual marketing and communication plan budgets, set key performance indicators (KPIs), and measure marketing program effectiveness.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a research-driven, evidence-based marketing strategy to support growth goals, leveraging referral, admissions, and market data.
  • Oversee all paid and organic marketing efforts, including branding, digital, advertising, media, out-of-home, and experiential marketing.
  • Establish and monitor performance and development goals for sales and marketing teams, assign accountabilities, set objectives, and conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Develop systems to streamline and measure the effectiveness of marketing and communication programs for maximum productivity and return on investment (ROI).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in marketing and/or communications leadership roles, with experience managing a geographically dispersed team.
  • Healthcare marketing and communications experience required, with behavioral health or acute care experience highly desired.
  • Experience in supporting company growth objectives and developing marketing strategies to support the growth of patient referrals, admissions, and revenues.
  • Experience managing teams (internal or external) or technology related to referrer email marketing programs and list building, including CRM systems, digital ad programs, online reputation efforts, and SEO.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, judgment, and ability to collaborate with and influence executives, senior leaders, managers, and the general organizational population.
  • Excellent strategic, consulting, and process thinking abilities.
  • Results and resolution-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sense of calm and professional composure under all circumstances.
  • Ability to simplify complex issues and take a pragmatic approach to organizational deliverables.
