Job Overview
This high-visibility role will lead new initiatives that accelerate early growth for Enterprise strategy, establishing best practices in driving innovation within a large organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Execution: Accelerate the strategic roadmap by bringing identified opportunities from concept through commercialization, focusing on biopharma services and oncology care delivery.
- Innovative Approaches: Advocate for creative strategies that leverage emerging technologies, foster customer-centric solutions, and promote collaboration across teams and partners.
- Feasibility Assessment: Develop and evaluate strategic financial and operational feasibility cases to support investment decisions for new growth opportunities.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage advanced analytics to collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources relevant to biopharma services and oncology care delivery.
- Collaboration: Partner with Corporate Strategy & Business Development (CSBD) and business units to identify and develop new opportunities for innovation.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of individual contributors, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We seek a candidate with strong experience in biopharma strategy, ideally in oncology care delivery, who can leverage analytical and strategic expertise to drive impactful initiatives.
Key Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in healthcare strategy, preferably with a focus on biopharma or oncology.
- Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, including product lifecycle management, pricing strategies, and market access considerations.
- Strategic Partnership Development: Experience in forming and nurturing strategic alliances with key stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry networks and customer engagement strategies.
- Executive-level Communication & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage and influence senior leadership, build consensus, and communicate complex ideas clearly.
What We Offer
A competitive compensation package at McKesson, determined by performance, experience, skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range is $175,700 - $292,800.
