About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enhancing their quality of life, and promoting a warm and welcoming community.

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for providing personalized care and assistance to a consistent group of residents, helping them with daily living activities, and encouraging their independence and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication administration, and personal care.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and the care team, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
  • Collaborate with the care team to create and implement individualized service plans, ensuring the unique needs and preferences of each resident are met.
  • Participate in training and education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices in senior care.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team, family members, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for delivering exceptional care and support to seniors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks involving standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, prioritizing the needs of residents and supporting colleagues when needed.
  • Dedication to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the principles of Sunrise Senior Living.

What We Offer:

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. You will also receive:
