Position Summary:

As an Audit Manager with a focus on the Technology & Professional Services sectors at Anchin, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our audit operations. This role entails managing client projects and assignments that ensure the delivery of high-quality services. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members, fostering their professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate detailed audit strategies tailored for the technology and professional services sectors, taking into account associated risks, regulations, and organizational goals.
  • Specialize in conducting audits, reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon procedures.
  • Lead and mentor a team of audit supervisors and seniors, offering guidance on audit methodologies, risk evaluation, and best practices while promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture within the audit team.
  • Facilitate the professional development of staff through mentorship and training opportunities.
  • Oversee daily operations of the audit team, providing direction on technical and industry-specific challenges.
  • Identify and evaluate risks linked to technology and professional services, considering emerging trends and industry advancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of risk management strategies and control frameworks.
  • Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and risk assessments to senior management and relevant stakeholders, preparing clear and concise audit reports that highlight critical areas and actionable recommendations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in audit methodologies, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements within the audit function.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of audit experience, particularly in technology and professional services or related fields.
  • Strong grasp of financial accounting principles and audit methodologies.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to critically assess and resolve complex issues.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards within the technology and professional services sectors.
  • Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation:

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $130,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience.
