Job SummaryThis role is responsible for ensuring timely order processing, product movement, and delivery of products. The successful candidate will work closely with management to achieve customer satisfaction and long-term account goals, aligning with the company's vision and values.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative and clerical support, including forecasting, recording, and analyzing inventory utilization needs.
- Enter commodity movement orders for raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
- Communicate proactively with Perdue Traffic Team, inventory warehouses, third-party service providers, and customers regarding shipping and inventory management needs.
- Interact with farm, meal, and oil customers to provide timely and professional customer service support.
- Work with management to prepare raw material settlements for payment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve accounts receivable issues with sales, management, and accounting teams.
- Provide accurate and timely data recording, cost accruals, and other administrative support.
- Assist with warehouse inventory management and record keeping.
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- Completion of AA or BA degree in Business or Administrative field preferred.
- 1-3 years of professional experience.
- Academic focus in business, accounting, or sciences preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Motivated, accountable, and proactive individual.
- Prior experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word preferred.
- Prior experience or knowledge of agriculture preferred.
Normal climate-controlled office spaces. Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel to and from customer locations. Ability to use standard office equipment, including telephone, computers, copiers, etc. Ability to move freely about plant and customer facilities. May be exposed to external weather conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme temperatures. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
