Construction Project Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Coordinator to provide field construction management services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project estimation, change management, and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review conceptual documents and vendor information to provide constructability input during all phases of engineering.
- Obtain proper approval and document all work, including change orders, before beginning work.
- Establish deliverables at the beginning of each project, including turnover packages, quality documents, schedules, and cost meetings.
- Work with clients and contractors to develop accurate, professional schedules, including task lists, durations, and sequencing information.
- Coordinate and schedule site orientation with Fluor Safety.
- Verify proper Chemical Clearance prior to bringing any chemicals on site.
- Generate complete, accurate, and timely RFA (Request for Action) including clear and accurate scope, start and end dates, and attachments.
- Develop overall project Sourcing plans and execution strategies.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings to describe scope in detail and answer questions.
- Organize and run Daily huddles and execution meetings.
- Monitor work in the field for progress, performance, quality, safety, and any special requirements.
- Approve timesheets and invoices, verifying that work was performed and is being charged correctly.
- Actively participate in cost and schedule meetings, keeping clients informed.
- Ensure that all plant permits are thoroughly understood by the contractor and are being used/issued properly.
- Work with clients and contractors to develop downtime schedules and establish construction work areas.
- Ensure client needs are met within our guidelines.
- Keep work areas clean, neat, and organized.
- Coordinate completion of construction activities for turnover, preparing and tracking punch lists and/or exception lists to ensure readiness for turnover.
- Prepare and submit turnover packages at the end of each project.
- Maintain a good set of project files, keeping documentation neat and orderly.
- Ensure contractors understand and follow site standards and policies, including security and auditing procedures.
- Always promote the importance of safety, reviewing and signing STA's to ensure compliance with site safety rules, and participating in site safety audits.
