Job Title: Subcontracts Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced Subcontracts Program Manager to join our team at Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT). As a key member of our Advanced Capabilities Business Area, you will be responsible for managing subcontract schedules, ensuring the successful delivery of subcontracts, and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the management and execution of multiple subcontract-focused programs
  • Serve as an internal and external stakeholder interface
  • Schedule and track deliverables and project costs for subcontracts
  • Develop IMS, POAMs, and staffing plans
  • Monitor and track subcontractor activities and deliverables
  • Build and maintain relationships with subcontractor partners
  • Coordinate with the IDT contracts departments to review technical proposals
  • Provide recommendations on contract terms and conditions and advise AC leadership on problem resolution for subcontracts
  • Actively participate in client meetings and reviews
  • Assist in proposal evaluation and assist in creating artifacts necessary to justify contract award
  • Manage financial aspects of IDT subcontracts including project execution, and invoice tracking and payment
  • Assist with subcontract closeout responsibilities
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in program management in the federal government sector
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience managing DoD programs, US Navy and/or MDA contracts in particular
  • Experience with DOD Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contracts or equivalent
  • Familiarity with CMMI Level 3+ processes
  • Familiarity with DOD Systems and/or Software Engineering processes
