Job Description

Osteria 545 seeks a highly skilled Culinary Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency in food production and service. This is a critical role that requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of culinary principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring consistency and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement efficient kitchen systems and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including line cooks and sous chefs, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Manage inventory and ordering, ensuring that supplies and ingredients are always on hand and that costs are controlled.
  • Collaborate with the executive chef to develop menus and specials, ensuring that they are creative, appealing, and profitable.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a senior cook or kitchen manager in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Culinary degree preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
Salary:

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
