We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist located in West Deptford, New Jersey. The main function of this role is to handle invoicing and sales order entries within the accounting department. The successful candidate will also be expected to demonstrate strong data entry skills in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:


• Handle the process of invoicing accurately and in a timely manner

• Manage sales order entry with attention to detail

• Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy

• Ensure the fulfillment of all orders by coordinating with other departments

• Maintain precise records of all transactions and invoices

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when needed

• Resolve customer inquiries related to invoicing and sales orders

• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and customer records

• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure smooth operations

• Continually improve processes and systems to increase efficiency

• Proficient in performing data entry tasks with high precision and accuracy
• Experience in order fulfillment processes and procedures
• Capable of entering and managing invoices effectively
• Demonstrated ability to work with accounting software and systems
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify errors in data
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
• Relevant experience in an accounting role is desirable.
