Join Our Team as an Admissions/Marketing Director

Arbors at Fairlawn is seeking a highly skilled Admissions/Marketing Director to lead our team in providing exceptional customer service and promoting our skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.

About the Role

The Admissions/Marketing Director will be responsible for managing the facility inquiry and admission process, providing customers with facility-related information, and coordinating effective customer relationship programs with the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to inquiry calls from hospital discharge planners, other community contacts, families, and referral sources in a professional and timely manner.
  • Conduct facility tours and manage the admission process by maintaining updated bed availability and facility services information.
  • Maintain a current database of existing and potential referral sources and ensure that referral sources and admissions data are entered into the automated referral system.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of customer relationship plans and serve as a chairperson for customer relationship team meetings.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Federal and State regulations and reimbursement guidelines (Medicare and Medicaid) and assist with managed care referral process.
  • Develop and implement special events and presentations targeted at community education and establish the facility as the expert on skilled nursing, specialty programs, and rehabilitation care in the community.
Requirements
  • Associate and/or bachelor's degree in business/communications field preferred.
  • Two years equivalent experience in a customer relations position or Admissions Coordinator position in lieu of degree.
  • Previous healthcare community relation's experience preferred.
  • One year of experience in a position requiring customer relations or customer service.
