Job Title: Customer Service Team Lead

At Whole Foods Market, we are dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences. As a Customer Service Team Lead, you will play a critical role in leading and executing our Customer Service & E-Commerce programs. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Team Leader in driving safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in our stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Experience: Deliver outstanding customer service and hold team members accountable for meeting customer expectations.
  • Task Management: Establish clear expectations for balancing in-store customer service and online order completion tasks.
  • Scheduling: Monitor the schedule to maintain in-store customer needs, online order capacity, and labor budget.
  • Competitive Analysis: Sustain strong knowledge and awareness of relevant competitors and industry trends.
  • Customer Support: Ensure an effective and efficient response to customer questions, requests, and concerns.
  • Team Development: Develop, coach, mentor, and motivate team members to sustain a high-performing team and minimize turnover.
Requirements:
  • 18+ months retail experience, including 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • Strong ability to perform task management, balancing dynamic customer flows.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how labor utilization and task management drive performance metrics and customer experience.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
  • Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
